Here it is. The seventh and final week of Lent. The Holy Week. The week where Jesus does His most impactful works. Yesterday, we celebrated Him as an arriving King. This week, we prepare for a dying one.

As you fast this week, choose to remain focused if you can. During Holy Week, Jesus spent time with His family. He spent time with His disciples. He spent time with those who would listen. Oh yeah, and He also spent time with His enemies…

For the next three days, remember that we all were once enemies of God. People who chose sin over righteousness. Yet, also remember that Jesus chooses time with you. As you struggle to abstain from pleasures, seek Jesus. Read the word, spend time in prayer, sit in silence as you ponder the wondrous works of God.
